On the 26th and 27th April, Tough Mudder came to Henley-on-Thames for the weekend where one of our very own Business Garage employees took part in the Saturday event. Liz Gardner was part of a team of 10 girls from a local Crossfit box who took on this challenge.
The course stretched over 12 miles of hills, valleys and fields along which 21 obstacles were there to be conquered. Obstacles such as jumping into a skip of ice water, crawling underground through tunnels, swinging Tarzan-style across water on hanging rings, walking the plank, getting electrocuted running through live wires, to name but a few….
Each obstacle required strength, confidence, positive mental attitude as well as excellent team work to encourage each other through.
