Due to growth in the business, we are recruiting for a Finance and Payroll Officer for our Milton Park office.

Business Garage is an exciting, dynamic, growing company offering a wide range of outsourced business support services to SMEs locally.

Our client base is growing, so we are looking for an enthusiastic and approachable Finance and Payroll Officer to join our friendly team. This is a permanent full-time position and an immediate start is available for the right person.

The role:

This will be an all-round finance support role providing complete bookkeeping and payroll services to a wide range of SME clients.  Duties will include:

  • Processing income, receipts and expenses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Payment runs
  • Running payroll
  • Management accounts preparation
  • Ad-hoc finance tasks

Due to the nature of our business, the role will be extremely varied and will involve additional administrative tasks from time to time.

The person:

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper and payroll administrator, preferably from an environment used to dealing with a number of clients from different sectors, occasionally working off-site at clients’ premises.

You should be used to dealing with a range of accounting and payroll software packages, particularly Sage. You should also have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
